Brief History
.
The Forum for the Restoration of Democracy–People is a political party in Kenya. At the legislative elections of 27 December 2002, the party won 14 out of 212 elected seats.
At the presidential elections of the same day, the party supported Simeon Nyachae, who came third with 5.9%.
At the Kenyan general election, 2007, Ford-Kenya is part of the newly-created Party of National Unity led by President Mwai Kibaki [1].
It gained three seats in parliament, but became the first to have a parliamentary seat victory overturned in an election petition, when the result for the Bomachoge Constituency was nullified.
Objectives

-Reconcile the nation through a Government of National Unity
-Offer an efficient government free of corruption
-Restore the pride of national Institutions
-Reform local government
-Reconstruct the economy and reform food security
-Create jobs and reduce unemployment
-Control crime and insecurity
-Reform the health sector
-Reform the education sector
-Encourage social equality and participation
