Join Parties! Men Tell Women
On their part, the men challenged women to join political parties and invest in the institution so as to create strong, compliant institutions through which both women and men can successfully compete for elective offices. During these bi-lateral meetings, women used the platform to lobby for support towards the actualization of the ‘Constitutional provisions of the ‘Not more than two-thirds.’
Dialogue: All bi-lateral engagements revealed the need for ongoing dialogue between the men and the women to guarantee mutual understanding of the gender provisions and more importantly, to actualize these provisions as stipulated.
